Let me guess – you missed Safe House when it was in theater and heard the mix reviews so you may have no idea if it is worth the future rental.  YES AND YES! It is an interesting story with a few twists and turns in the movie. And what woman does not love looking at Denzel?  Denzel Washington is the only actor I know that can sit in a chair by a window, cross his legs, peer out the window in deep thought and look like the sexist man on earth. You look at him and say YUMMY. There are no real chick flick elements in the movie but as an action movie you are going to enjoy the story. I would suggest making a pot of chili, some cornbread and having date night on the couch. Your hubby will love the action and you will get to sit down and relax with your husband.  It is bound to be a fun night. How can you go wrong with a great Hollywood eye candy and stud muffin in the same room. What girl wouldn’t love that? RENT THE MOVIE this summer.

Transformers – Dark of the Moon

Some movies need to be seen in the theater so you can have the surround sound and feel like the base go through your chest. I unfortunately do not have surround sound at home so the movie seemed a little lame.  I was crossing my fingers that it would get better but I was rather disappointed.  At one point I thought to myself – is this movie ever going to end? I also want to know why does the heroine of the story always have to wear white? We know she is going to run and the end of the world is just around the corner so why not put on regular jeans and a sweatshirt like normal girls who are on the run from Transformers?  If you are thinking of about renting this movie I would go into your hubbies man cave and watch it. When the movies starts to drag in places try your hardest not to start talking about your day to your hubby – your man will love the action scenes so cuddle up next to him and just enjoy spending time with him.
